Head Glitch Studios · Independent slot studio

Bad ideas.
Good maths.

We make slot games about radioactive burgers, armed chickens, road trains and fever dreams. Then we do the maths until they work.

Specimens from Head Glitch games laid out like evidence on cream paper: a glowing burger under a bell jar, a dusty toy road train, an egg with a fuse, a melting smiley lollipop and a black duffel bag with a gold crown charm.

Our first slot · HG-001

A 7×7 cluster slot set inside a toybox that has started to hallucinate. Mutating symbols, cascading multipliers, and a Fever Meter that turns every spin into a fever dream.

Fever Dream key art: a grinning yellow cyclops in a paint-splattered blue hoodie holds a melting smiley lollipop in a world of glossy pink and acid-green slime.

Procedure

How a bad idea becomes a game

We take ridiculous ideas seriously. That's the whole method.

  1. 01

    The bad idea

It starts with a premise nobody asked for. A burger that glows. A chicken with a cannon. If it makes us laugh and then makes us think, it stays.

  2. 02

    The world

Every game gets its own place, palette and logic. No reskins, no stock pyramids. If the premise is a road train, the feature drives.

  3. 03

    The mechanic

Features have to come from the world. If we can't explain why a mechanic exists in one sentence, it doesn't ship.

  4. 04

    The maths

Then the boring, beautiful part: modelling, balancing and checking until the numbers hold up.

  5. 05

    The release

Published on Engine, played on partner platforms, with the fact sheet to match.

Featured mechanic · HG-002

The truck does not brake.

In The Big Rig, the Road Train isn't a bonus with a truck painted on it. It drives across the grid and wipes it. The premise is the mechanic.

House rules

House rules

  1. Rule 01

    No pyramids.

There are enough Egyptian slots. We'll be over here with the chickens.

  2. Rule 02

    Every feature earns its place.

If a mechanic doesn't come from the world, it's decoration. We don't ship decoration.

  3. Rule 03

Max win is a number, not a promise.

We publish what the maths says, and nothing it doesn't.

  4. Rule 04

Play for fun, or don't play.

Our games are entertainment for adults. Set limits. Walk away whenever.
